PROJECT PURPOSE
To create a large pool of highly qualified, certied network engineers who could respond to the IT needs of the emergent society, while driving and implementing global networking standards within business, government and ngo sectors.

PROJECT HISTORY
June 2001- IPKO signed a contract with Cisco Inc. to gain rights for Cisco Academy training program as well as the right to be an official Cisco Regional Academy. Between 2001 and 2006 Ipko had 1270 Students.

PROJECT HANDOVER

Ipko Institute handed Cisco over to AUK

PROJECT OUTCOME
The Cisco program significantly expanded the number of internationally certified Cisco network engineers, who are disseminated throughout the region. Local Cisco academies started up within the region, providing an even greater dissemination of the education and training. Cisco is fully established as a market leader and market standard.
