PROJECT PURPOSE
To develop a pool of creative, ICT aware, project managers who could drive projects within a range of environments by using latest methodologies and practices.

PROJECT HISTORY
During 2001 Ipko identified a lack of professional Project Managers in Kosovo as well as key sectors around the Balkans. Along with a strong partner- the Olof Palme international centre - an opportunity was identified to create human resources for the development of democracy in the Balkans by using information and communications technologies.
To set up the project in Prishtina, a curriculum for a two-year project management education was developed in co-operation with Hyper Island Sweden. Lecturers were sourced from Sweden, USA, England and Kosovo.
In 2006, the IIMP program was handed over to the AUK. 2007.
Between 2003 and 2006 the project had over 43 students.

PROJECT HANDOVER
2006 IIMP was handed over to American University of Kosovo.
2007 new program to be re-launched as a 3 year bachelor course.
